Answers to common questions about buying, shipping, returns, and working with ItemsRack.
Buying & Ordering
You can purchase from ItemsRack through our website, eBay, Etsy, Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, Whatnot, and other platforms where we list inventory. Availability may vary across platforms.
ItemsRack sells commercial kitchen equipment, restaurant equipment, industrial machinery, commercial appliances, business assets, surplus inventory, palletized items, and other hard-to-find commercial and industrial products.
ItemsRack sells equipment in a range of conditions including new, open box, refurbished, used, and surplus. Each listing includes a condition grade and description. Review our Equipment Condition Guide to understand what each condition grade means before purchasing.
Warranty availability varies by item. Most used, surplus, and liquidation equipment is sold as-is without a manufacturer warranty. Any available warranty will be stated in the item listing. Review the listing carefully before purchasing.
Yes. Submit an equipment request through our Request Equipment page. If the item becomes available in our inventory, we will contact you.
Inventory changes frequently because ItemsRack sources from surplus, liquidation, business equipment, and unique commercial channels. Check back often because many items are one-off listings and may not be restocked.
Inspection availability depends on the item, storage location, and schedule. Contact us before purchasing if you need additional photos, condition details, or inspection information.
Some items may allow offers depending on the sales platform, item type, and current inventory status. If offers are accepted, the listing or marketplace will usually show that option.
Review all photos, condition notes, measurements, included accessories, compatibility information, shipping details, and return terms before buying. Used, surplus, and liquidation items may have signs of wear or limited testing.
Shipping & Delivery
Smaller items ship via parcel carriers (UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL). Larger commercial equipment, pallets, and oversized items ship via LTL freight carriers. Shipping method depends on item size, weight, and destination. Local delivery and warehouse pickup are also available for qualifying orders.
Use our Track Your Order page. Parcel orders include a tracking number in your shipping confirmation. Freight orders use a PRO Number. Marketplace orders can also be tracked through your marketplace account.
Yes. Local delivery is available within 50-100 miles of ZIP code 44135 (Cleveland, Ohio) for select items. It is quote-based. Submit a Local Delivery Quote Request for availability and pricing.
Yes. Warehouse pickup is available by appointment at 14750 Industrial Parkway, Cleveland, Ohio 44135. Dock-height vehicles are required. Submit a Pickup Request to schedule an appointment.
International shipping is available by quote for select items and destinations. Submit an International Shipping Quote Request. The buyer is responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs fees.
A PRO Number is the tracking number used by freight carriers such as Estes, Old Dominion, XPO, and others. It is printed on your delivery notice and in your shipping confirmation email. Enter it on the freight carrier's website to track your shipment.
Submit a Redelivery Request. Our team will coordinate with the carrier to arrange another delivery attempt. Additional carrier fees may apply for redelivery, storage, and rescheduling.
Liftgate service uses a platform on the back of a freight truck to lower palletized freight to ground level. It is commonly needed when the delivery location does not have a loading dock or forklift.
Limited access delivery applies to locations that are harder for freight carriers to access, such as schools, storage facilities, construction sites, trade shows, government buildings, or locations with restricted entry. Additional fees may apply.
Standard freight delivery is usually curbside or dock delivery only. Inside delivery, room placement, unpacking, installation, and setup are not included unless specifically quoted and approved.
Yes. Always inspect the pallet, packaging, item count, and visible condition before signing the delivery paperwork. If damage is visible, note it clearly on the delivery receipt before signing and take photos immediately.
Address changes may not be possible after processing or carrier pickup has begun. Contact support as quickly as possible. If a carrier address change is available, additional fees may apply.
No. Shipping and delivery dates are estimates only. Carrier schedules, weather, labor shortages, appointment availability, customs, and other delays may affect delivery timing.
Returns & Refunds
Returns and refunds are handled according to the policies of the marketplace where the purchase was made. Review our Returns & Refund Policy for full details. Contact support@itemsrack.com to initiate a return inquiry.
Document the damage immediately with photographs and note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing. File a Freight Damage Report and contact support@itemsrack.com right away. Do not discard packaging and do not use damaged equipment until the claim is reviewed.
Contact support@itemsrack.com immediately with your order number and a description or photo of what was received. Do not use or return the item until you have contacted our team.
Because ItemsRack sells used, surplus, liquidation, commercial, and unique inventory, all sales are final unless otherwise required by law or specifically approved in writing by ItemsRack. Review the full Returns & Refund Policy before purchasing.
Returns are generally not accepted for buyer's remorse, ordering the wrong item, compatibility issues, or failure to read the listing. Please verify model, measurements, and compatibility before purchasing.
Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable. If a return is approved, return shipping costs and freight-related fees may remain the customer's responsibility unless otherwise required by law or approved in writing.
Refusing delivery does not automatically create a return. Refused shipments may result in return freight charges, storage fees, redelivery fees, administrative fees, or restocking fees.
