Freight Shipping FAQ

Freight pricing is based on shipment weight, dimensions (freight class), origin, destination, and any additional services required such as liftgate, residential delivery, or inside delivery. A quote must be provided for each shipment.

LTL freight transit times vary by carrier and route, typically 2-7 business days for domestic shipments. Transit time does not include the delivery appointment scheduling process, which may add 1-3 additional business days.

A liftgate is a hydraulic platform on the back of a freight truck that lowers items from the truck to ground level. If your delivery location does not have a loading dock, liftgate service is typically required for heavy equipment. There is usually an additional carrier fee for this service.

Most LTL freight carriers call ahead to schedule a delivery appointment, especially for residential and commercial deliveries. Make sure the phone number on your order is correct. If a carrier has not contacted you within the expected delivery window, contact them directly using your PRO number.
